I am a recent Project Life recruit and I have to say I am loving it! I just don't have the patience (or skill) to put together a traditional scrapbook but with Skye changing so much every day I would hate to miss capturing all the little details that make up our lives.
I have gone for the super straightforward digital version so I don't even have to print photos! Here is my pick for todays entry
Yep, Skye has worked out how to unzip her sleeping bag... and just in time for winter.
Have a great weekend!

Exercising for Happiness
Labels:
Fitness
Up until about 6 years ago I would have never thought that exercise would be such an important part of my life. Initially I joined a gym with a friend to tone up and lose a little weight for my wedding (original I know), but somewhere along the line I got hooked. This change in lifestyle coincided with one of the busiest periods of my life, I was finishing my Marketing Degree, working massive hours as a Wedding Coordinator and planning my own wedding. Between the late night study, assignments, split days off and appointments for the "big day", I shouldn't have had time to scratch myself let alone get to a gym, but in reality, it went a long way to saving my sanity and helping me deal with the pressure.

10 Things I Miss About my Pre Baby Life
Labels:
Life
At the risk of sounding selfish, there are some things that I truly miss from the days when it was just Luke, Bundy and me. This is not a list of woe-is-me gripes about what pregnancy and breastfeeding has done to my body, we all experience that in varying degrees. What I am talking about are those simple things that you took for granted when you really only had to consider yourself in your plans.
Happy Easter
Now that the celebrations are almost over and the mere thought of chocolate is enough to make me want to reach for a carrot stick, I wish you a Happy Easter! I hope that however you spent your extra LONG Weekend, you at least managed to indulge yourself in some way and possibly even get together with family and friends.
Note: this photo should have been much clearer, but my photography assistant (pictured) felt that the lens required some technical adjustment...with her chocolatey fingers.

Hi! I'm so glad you found me.
Welcome to my life! Firstly I think a little introduction is in order, my name is Erin and I am a Stay At Home Mum to my beautiful daughter Skye. Through this site I hope to share not just the joys and challenges of toddler wrangling, but my favorite recipes, latest impulse purchases (there will be many) and often short-lived hobbies / projects that consume the hours of my day.
It is unlikely you will find any evidence of the breezy, relaxed coffee dates with friends, long walks by the lake or hours spent in front of the TV eating Tim Tams that I once imagined this phase in my life would be. I am sure Karma and my mum have a good chuckle at my revelations of life as a SAHM and hopefully you will too.
